This blog is not an official church website, but it is designed to be a forum for us to share ideas as we prepare lessons, to share resources, and to discuss any issues that might come up as we strive to teach our children and help them come unto Christ.

I Have A Question
Teaching Primary inevitably demands innovative crowd-management techniques. What reverence issues have you encountered and what works best for dealing with them?
In class last week, I asked the children to open their scriptures. One child refused to reach over and pick up his scriptures. I used the story of Moses and the children of Israel and asked him if he was really sick and a doctor told him the only way to save his life was to crawl out of bed and look out the window at a cross that he was carrying, would he do it?
He reply, "Maybe... yeah."
I reply, "It's a true story from Moses and the children of Israel. The scriptures are just as important as crawling out of your tent. Please crawl over and pick them up to be saved."
